On Saturday 10-08-2024 we went to AVS Balloonmeeting Deinze.
We stood on the viaduct of the N35 (Tweebruggenlaan) that runs over the river Leie.
The balloons were directed towards Gent.
The supply of new balloons for us was a bit disappointing this year.
It is also a pity that the organization does not show participating balloons on their website.
This could be a nice update just as many events in the Netherlands do.
We saw a total of 22 balloons take to the skies and 2 balloons as static on the launch site.
Around 22:30 the nightglow started with about 5 balloons.

When all the balloons have left, the history of ballooning team will launch an old balloon in the shape of an electric pylon.

Also the McDonald's balloon was on the static show.

After the static show there was a nightglow on music with five balloons.
