Kevelaerer Hot Air Balloon

We had already driven to Kevelaer on Friday afternoon for the evening flight,
but due to the strong wind, it was cancelled.
We spent the night at Walbeck Castle,
where the alarm went off again at 4:00 AM to watch the Morning Flight.

We drove back to Kevelaer and arrived at 5:30 AM.
The balloon teams had already made some preparations and set up the baskets and burners.
Some balloons were already spread out across the field.

At 5:50 AM, we began inflating the balloons.

Where at 06:08 the first balloon took off,
the D-OKEV, a Schröeder Fire Balloon G-42-24 in the house colours of the city of Kevelaer Wallfahrtsstadt.
